Cooking Instructions - General. For best results microwave from chilled. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat.
Warning
When removing the film lid during and after cooking, do so with caution as hot steam may escape. During heating, the packaging may become flexible. Leave on a plate/baking tray at all times during the reheating and stirring process. Handle carefully to avoid scalding. Packaging will regain strength on standing.; Microwave - From Chilled. Remove sleeve and pierce film lid over both compartments. Place on a microwavable plate and heat on full power for 2 minutes (900w), 2 minutes 30 seconds (800w). Partially peel back film lid, add 1 teaspoon of water to the rice, stir both compartments and re-cover. Heat on full power for a further 2 minutes (900w), 2 minutes 30 seconds (800w). Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving. Remove film lid and stir thoroughly before serving.; Microwave - From Frozen. Remove sleeve and pierce film lid over both compartments. Place on a microwavable plate and heat on full power for 5 minutes (900w, 800w). Partially peel back film lid, add 1 teaspoon of water to the rice, stir both compartments and re-cover. Heat on full power for a further 3 minutes (900w), 3 minutes 30 seconds (800w). Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving. Remove film lid and stir thoroughly before serving.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Pre-heat oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5. Remove sleeve and pierce film lid over the beef and sauce compartment. Peel back film over rice compartment, add 1 teaspoon of water to the rice and stir. Re-cover and place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven and cook for 25 minutes.
Allow to stand for 1 minute. Remove film lid and stir thoroughly before serving.; Oven cook - From Frozen. Pre-heat oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5. Remove sleeve and pierce film lid over the beef and sauce compartment. Peel back film over rice compartment, add 1 teaspoon of water to the rice and re-cover. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven and cook for 45 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Remove film lid and stir thoroughly before serving.
