Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide.
Do not reheat. Please remove all packaging before cooking/defrosting.
Steak thickness will vary slightly. Remove from the fridge 20 minutes before cooking and remove from all packaging to allow meat to warm at room temperature. Ensure the pan is hot by pre-heating over a high heat before adding a little oil, turning the heat down to medium.
Add the steak to the hot pan and cook.
Rare: Fry for 3 minutes 30 seconds on each side.
Medium: Fry for 5 minutes on each side.
Well done: Fry for 7 minutes on each side.
Remove from heat, keep warm, cover and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Safety: Wash hands after handling. Use separate utensils and surfaces for raw meat/fish or wash after use. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from cooked foods.
