Morrisons The Best Block Series 017 Limoux Chardonnay

This wine comes from a select few high-altitude blocks in Limoux with south-facing slopes and clay-limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested at sunrise and then aged in French oak barrels for 9 months giving aromas of honeysuckle and peach layered with buttered toast and baked apple.

Introducing "Block Series", a selection of wines born out of Morrisons' passion for farming and agriculture. Great wines all start with great fruit, and the best grapes come from the best vineyards. In celebration of this, each wine in the Block Series can be traced all the way back to its roots.
