Morrisons The Best Block Series 006 Paarl Chenin Blanc 75CL

A blend of 3 select dry-farmed vineyards across the Paarl region. Granitic outcrops from Table Mountain bring minerality and diversity to these otherwise sandy loam soils. The grapes are handpicked and then fermented in 600 litre french oak barrels which give it a wonderfully rich and luscious texture. Tropical fruit combines seamlessly with toasted oak and stony minerality.

Introducing "Block Series", a selection of wines born out of Morrisons' passion for farming and agriculture. Great wines all start with great fruit, and the best grapes come from the best vineyards. In celebration of this, each wine in the Block Series can be traced all the way back to its roots. From rugged hills to sun-drenched valleys, every block tells a story of the land's character, the skill of the grower and the personality of the vines. Rooted in quality, driven by diversity Block Series is a celebration of "terroir" in its purest form.

This wine is made from 3 prized blocks from Paarl, representing the best the region has to offer. In the glass, typical rich and honeyed Chenin notes are complemented with bright, crisp green apples. Great on its own or paired with white meats.
