The Godelho grapes are grown in the Eastern part of the Douro Superior, in extremely high altitude vineyards. The bright sunny days provide ripe grapes with superb quality and the schist soils give minerality and acidity. The stunning terraced vineyards are cooled by the breeze from the river during the day, while cool nights give freshness to the grapes on the vines. Crisp and floral, with a rich mouthfeel, and notes of green apple and pear.
