The inspiration behind the Best wine collection comes from our wine experts, who are passionate about sourcing exceptional quality wines from the world's finest wine producers. Like this Barbera d'Asti made in partnership with Araldica in Piemonte. We age the wine in a combination of large Slavonian oak barrels called Botti and French oak barriques for 12 months before being bottled to add further complexity.

The Monferrato hills are home to some of the best quality grapes and vineyards in Piemonte. The warmer, southwest facing slopes are used to grow Barbera, allowing the grapes to achieve phenolic ripeness and balance the natural acidity with weight of fruit and tannin.

Vinification Details

The grapes were de-stemmed and crushed, before undergoing temperature controlled stainless steel fermentation. The wine was then aged in a mixture of Italian Botti and French oak barriques for 12 months
