Cafetière User Guide
Please Read these Instructions Before Use and Retain for Future Reference Safety
- Always check the glass jug for any signs of damage. Do not use if the product is chipped scratched or cracked.
- The glass jug can be removed for cleaning;
- Do not attempt to remove from the holder by pushing the base of the jug.
- If the glass jug is difficult to remove, the addition of hot water will soften the plastic holder and make the jug easy to remove
- Surfaces of the cafetière may become hot during use.
- Always carry by the handle.
- Do not overfill the jug. Allow a minimum gap of 2.5 cm (1 inch) to the rim.
- To avoid risk of scolding from hot water, always depress the plunger slowly.
Instruction for Use
- Whilst holding the handle firmly, remove the lid and plunger.
- Pre-heat the jug with hot water.
- When the jug is warm, pour away the water and add coarse ground coffee, to taste.
- Fill jug with hot water (not boiling), allowing a minimum gap of 2.5 cm to the rim.
- Stir contents and allow to brew for a few minutes.
- Refit the plunger and lid into the jar and depress the plunger slowly with the spout facing away from you whilst holding the handle securely.
- The filter will stop before it reaches the bottom of the jug.
- Your coffee is ready to pour
- The jug may become loose in the holder after the addition of hot water, keep hold of the lid while pouring to support the cafetière
