Wash before use. Best served at room temperature to maximise flavour. Prepare immediately before eating or sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning.

1 Slice the avocado in half lengthwise
2 Twist the two halves to separate
3 Circle a spoon around the pit (stone) to loosen it, then to remove, slide the spoon underneath and lift up
4 Gently push the spoon between the avocado skin and the flesh. Scoop out the flesh, serve and enjoy
