Boil from defrost. Pour enough water into a saucepan to cover the shells. Bring to the boil. Place the clams into the saucepan of boiling water. Bring back up to the boil on a medium to high heat and cook for 2 minutes. Shaking the saucepan gently occasionally. Adjust heat if necessary.
