Feeding guidelines
Healthy puppies should be fed the following amounts daily:
Age: 2 months; 5kg: 3; 10kg: 5; 20kg: 8; 30kg: 9; 40kg: 12; meals per day: 4
Age: 3 months; 5kg: 4; 10kg: 6-7; 20kg: 11; 30kg: 13; 40kg: 18; meals per day: 3
Age: 6 months; 5kg: 4; 10kg: 7; 20kg: 12; 30kg: 14; 40kg: 19; meals per day: 3
Age: 12 months; 5kg: adult; 10kg: adult; 20kg: adult; 30kg: 16; 40kg: 20; meals per day: 2
Weights given are adult weight of dogs.
An individual puppy's requirement may differ from this guide: it will depend on the level of activity and breed. Best served at room temperature. When introducing your dog to a new food, make the change gradually over 7-10 days. Increasing the proportion of the new food each day. Make sure fresh drinking water is always available for your pet. Young Puppies have small stomachs and need to be fed more frequently. Quantities mentioned are in pouches per day.
