Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. If product is frozen, defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours.; Hob - From Chilled. Remove all packaging, except netting. Place in a large pan of cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 27 minutes per 500g. Remove joint from pan allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Pre-heat your oven to 200ºC/400ºF/Gas Mark 6. Remove packaging, except netting. Wrap joint in foil and roast for 35 minutes per 500g. At the end of the cooking time, remove the foil and cook for a further 20 minutes. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Remove netting before serving. Serve and enjoy.
Alternatively for best results after boiling transfer immediately to a roasting pan and place in the centre of a pre-heated oven 200ºC/400ºF/Gas Mark 6 for 20 minutes. Remove joint from tray and allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Remove netting before serving. Serve and enjoy.
