Oven cook - From Chilled. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and that no pink colour remains.
180°C, Fan 160°C, Gas 4
Pre-heat your oven as shown. Remove from outer packaging. Do not remove the drip pad or foil tray. Place crown in its foil tray into a roasting tin, rub the skin of crown with oil or butter (optional) and cover loosely with foil. Place roasting tin in the centre of the oven. Cook for 20 minutes per kilo plus 95 minutes. After 1 hour remove foil, return to the oven, and continue cooking. Baste turkey crown occasionally during cooking process (typically 2-4 times depending on the size). After cooking time, cover with kitchen foil and allow to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes before carving.
