Pre-heat your oven as shown. Remove outer packaging and place the gravy sachet to one side for later use. Empty contents of pouch into an ovenproof dish and cover with foil.
Place in the oven for 45 minutes, turning the shank halfway through cooking. Remove from the oven, discard the foil and any cooking juices. Open the sachet and pour the gravy over the lamb shank and return to the oven uncovered for the final 3 minutes.
