FREEZING: Freeze as soon as possible and within the date indicated. Best within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator and use the same day. Once thawed, do not refreeze.

How to cook:
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and that no pink colour remains.

Pre-heat your oven as shown. Remove from uter packaging. Do not remove the drip pad or foil tray. Place crown in its foil tray into a roasting tin, rub the skin of crown with oil or butter (optional) and cover loosely with foil. Place roasting tin in the centre of the oven. Cook for 20 minutes per kilo plus 105 minutes. After 1 hour remove foil, return to the oven and continue cooking. Baste turkey crown occasionally during cooking process (typically 2-4 times dfepending on the size). After cooking time, cover with kitchen foil and allow to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes before carving.

HOW TO DEFROST: Allow to defrost in the refrigerator for approximately 30-39 hours and use the same day. Ensure the crown is completely defrosted by checking there are no ice crystals present in the cavity.
