Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat.
If product is frozen, defrost thoroughly and cook as chilled. Please remove all packaging before cooking/defrosting.
Safety
Store raw meat covered at the bottom of the fridge. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and poultry or wash thoroughly after use. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from cooked foods. Wash hands after handling raw meat land poultry.; Grill - From Chilled. Remove from the fridge 10 minutes before cooking and remove from all packaging to allow meat to reach room temperature. Pre-heat grill to a medium heat.
Season steaks and place under grill. Rare: 4 minutes each side, Medium: 5 minutes each side and Well done: 7 minutes each side. Remove from under grill, cover, keep warm and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Remove from the fridge 10 minutes before cooking and remove from all packaging to allow meat to reach room temperature. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a high heat.
Season the steaks, reduce heat, add steaks to pan and cook for Rare: 3 minutes each side, Medium: 4 minutes each side and Well done: 6 minutes each side. Once cooked, remove from pan, cover, keep warm and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
