Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Please remove all packaging before cooking/defrosting.
Safety
Use separate utensils and surfaces for raw meat/fish or wash after use. Wash hands after handling. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from cooked foods.; Grill - From Chilled. Remove from the fridge 10 minutes before cooking and remove from all packaging to allow meat to warm at room temperature. Pre-heat grill to medium heat. Season steaks and place them under the grill. Rare: Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side. Medium: Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side. Well done: Grill for 9-10 minutes on each side. Remove from under grill, cover, keep warm and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Remove from the fridge 10 minutes before cooking and remove from all packaging to allow meat to warm at room temperature. Ensure the pan is hot by pre-heating over a high heat. Turn the heat down to medium before adding a little oil. Season steaks and add to the pan. Ensure the meat is fully sealed on all sides. Rare: Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side. Medium: Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side. Well done: Fry for 7-8 minutes on each side. Remove from heat, keep warm, cover and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
