Did you know that cream sherries can easily give dessert wines a run for their money? Wait till it's at room temperature, then sip the rich raisin and caramel flavours with a lovely fruity pudding. Give it a go before a meal too, chilled and served over ice - it's amazingly tasty. It really would be a crime to limit your enjoyment to just an annual festive snifter. Even Shakespeare must have been keen because he mentioned it in his plays more than once or twice. Perhaps he was hoping for a kindly wine merchant in the audience to take pity on him.
