Remove outer packaging. Place cake on its board on a flat surface. Hold the cake and with a long serrated sharp knife, cut the cake into slices using a sawing action. It is important to keep the knife clean between slices. Using a clean serrated knife, cut the cake in half and then half again, cut each quarter into 4 equal portions.
