Cooking Instructions - General. For best results microwave from chilled. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Packaging not suitable for oven heating.
Warning
When tearing pouch or removing the foil, do so with caution as hot steam will escape. Handle carefully to avoid scalding.; Microwave - From Chilled. Tear or cut a 3 cm opening in the top of the pouch. Place the pouch upright on a microwavable plate and heat on full power for 3 minutes 30 seconds (900w), 4 minutes (800w). Take care as hot steam will escape when cutting or tearing the pouch. Cut or tear the pouch to create a 3/4 opening and stir thoroughly to mix all components into the sauce. Return the pouch upright and heat for a further 3 minutes (900w or 800w). Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Pre-heat your oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6. Tear or cut to remove the top of the pouch. Decant the contents of the pouch into an ovenproof dish of a similar size, stir or spread evenly, and cover with foil. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven and heat for 34 minutes, stirring halfway through. Take care as hot steam will escape when removing foil. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Remove foil, stir well and serve.; Stir Fry - From Chilled. Pre-heat a little oil in a wok or large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Tear or cut to remove the top of the pouch. Decant the contents into the pan and stir or spread evenly. Cook for 14 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure even heating. If the sauce thickens too quickly, add a splash of water to loosen. Stir well and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
