This medicinal product contains 2.4 vol% ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 191 mg per wine per 10 ml dose, equivalent to 4.9 ml of beer or 2ml of wine per 10 ml dose. Harmful for those suffering from alcoholism. To be taken into account in pregnant or breast-feeding women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy. Guaifenesin may increase the rate of absorption of paracetamol. Contains E122 - may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
Side effects
If you get any of these serious side effects, stop taking the medicine. See a doctor at once:
- Difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat (severe allergic reactions).
These other effects are less serious. If they bother you talk to a pharmacist:
- Other allergic reactions (e.g. skin rash, red itchy skin)
- Feeling sick, being sick, stomach discomfort.

Liquid for oral use. Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age: take 5 to 10 ml every two or three hours. Not more than 4
Doses should be given in any 24 hours. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. Do not take with any other cough and cold medicines. Please wipe bottle neck after use. If cap becomes stuck run under warm water for 30 seconds.
