If you have asthma or are suffering from acute asthma attack
If you have an intolerance to some sugars.
Contains 4.4g of glucose per 10ml dose.
This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus.
This medicinal product also contains ethanol, E122 and E218. See further warnings information.
Not recommended for children under 12 years. Stop use and ask a healthcare professional if your cough lasts for more than 5 days, comes back, or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache.

This medicinal product contains 2.4 vol% ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 191mg per 10ml dose, equivalent to 4.9ml of beer or 2ml of wine per 10ml dose. Harmful for those suffering from alcoholism. To be taken into account in pregnant or breast-feeding women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy. Guaifenesin may increase the rate of absorption of paracetamol. Contains E122 - may cause allergic reactions. Contains E218 - may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
Side effects

Difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat (severe allergic reactions). These other effects are less serious. If they bother you talk to a pharmacist:
Other allergic reactions (e.g. skin rash, red itchy skin)

Liquid for oral use.
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Take 5 to 10ml every two or three hours. Not more than 4 doses should be given in any 24 hours. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. Do not take with any other cough and cold medicines. Please wipe bottle neck after use. If cap becomes stuck run under warm water for 30 seconds.
