Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.; Hob - From Chilled. Keep the sauce sachet to one side. Place the gammon into a medium size pan and fill to cover the pouch. Heat the water on high heat until the water is on a rolling boil. Once the water reaches a rolling boil turn down to a medium heat for 35 minutes. For the final 5 minutes place the sauce sachet into the water, after 5 minutes carefully remove the gammon and sauce sachet from the water. Open gammon pouch and pour away any excess juices. Pull the two shanks apart and place onto a plate or bowl. Open the sauce sachet and pour over the shanks.; Oven cook - From Chilled. 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 45 min
Pre-heat your oven as shown. Place the contents of the pouch into an oven proof dish or foil tray, keeping the sachet of sauce to one side. Cover the product with a lid or foil and place into the centre of the oven for 40 minutes. Carefully remove from the oven removing the lid or foil and pour away the juices. Carefully pour over the sachet of sauce glazing the gammon and return into the oven for a further 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve on plate or bowl.
