Morrisons Balti Sauce

Morrisons' Balti sauce is a curry sauce with onions and tomatoes that can be the basis for your curry meal. We also use ground fennel in our recipe to ensure this sauce is packed with flavour.
So easy to use, and so versatile too. You can add your own selection of vegetables to keep it a vegetarian meal. Sweet potato, baby corn or peppers will all go great…or add some tofu if you prefer. Alternatively, fried strips of chicken or turkey will add even more flavour.
Add rice, Chapattis or Naan breads as you prefer to make this a hearty meal for the whole family. Or add something from Morrison's Indian selection, which include onion bhajis and vegetable samosas.

Serves 4. Heat 1 tbsp (15ml) of oil in a frying pan or wok. Once hot, add 500g of diced chicken breast and fry for 3 minutes until lightly browned. Stir in the jar of sauce and simmer gently over a medium heat for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is thoroughly cooked. Serve with rice.
