Product Information

The result of a meticulous selection from 8 of the best vineyard parcels in the Corbières appellation. Syrah from high altitudes and Grenache from old vines are skilfully combined to create this wine of character and finesse.

Maison Fortant has been a pioneer of fine wines from the south of France for over 100 years. This Corbières is a blend of 50% syrah from high altitude areas and 50% grenache from old vines.
Expertly assembled by Maison Fortant's head-Winemaker. Vibrant blackberry aromas with garrigue undertones. Rich flavours of dark fruits and cherry. Long silky-smooth finish.

History

Fortant proposes a new vision of the Languedoc with a topographical approach to take its wines to new heights. And so the Fortant viticultural regions were imagined: coasts, hills, and mountains, in which the landscape is evoked through the tasting of the wines.
