Dumplings
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 2 cups of Lubella Poznańska flour
- 1/2 cup of lukewarm water
- 1 egg
Filling:
- 500 g of cooked potatoes
- 250 g of cottage cheese
- 1 onion
- 2 spoons of butter
- salt, pepper
Preparation:
Dough: Knead a uniform dough from the above mentioned ingredients.
Filling: Grind the cooked and cooled potatoes with the cottage cheese. Add onion that has been previously fried on butter and mix everything. Add salt and pepper at the end. Roll the dough, cut circles, put the filling on every circle and make dumplings. Cook in salty water until they raise to the surface. Dumplings are excellent with fried onion.
