Louis Alexandre Sauvignon Blanc

A lively and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. The vineyards are situated in Gascogny, where warm sunny days and cool evenings ripen the grapes slowly, producing this classic white wine from South West France. The result is a wonderfully juicy palate with crisp, citrus fruit flavours and subtle notes of elderflower, leading to a dry, refreshing finish.

In south west France (south of Bordeaux), Gascony is the home of foie gras, d'Artagnan and The Three Musketeers; more importantly for Boutinot, it has been the source of our white bistro wines for the past twenty-five years

Boutinot have developed long-standing relationships with growers in the Languedoc-Roussillon. This enables us to source premium quality grapes from selected, low-yielding vineyards. These relatively high altitude vineyards benefit from coastal breezes and are situated near some of the best oyster farms in the world.
