Cooking Instructions - General. CONVENTIONAL COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water for 4-6 minutes. 2. Drain the pasta and return to the pan 3. Add 50 g (2oz) margarine or butter, 50 ml (3-4 tablespoons) semi-skimmed milk and the cheese sauce 3. Add 50 g (2oz) margarine or butter, 50 ml (3-4 tablespoons) semi-skimmed milk and the cheese sauce mix. Return to the heat and mix well. SERVE IMMEDIATELY. TO PREPARE IN A 750w MICROWAVE: 1. Put 850 ml (1,5 pints) boiling water in a large bowl. Stir in the pasta and a pinch of salt. Cook uncovered on FULL POWER for 5-7 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. 2. Drain pasta well and return to the bowl. Stir in the 50 g (2 oz) margarine or butter and 50ml (3-4 tablespoons) semi-skimmed milk. Add the cheese sauce mix and stir well.
