Recommended recipe for gluten-free chapattis using Indus Gluten Free Chapatti Flour.
Instructions: These are guidelines only.
- 3 mugs/cups Indus Gluten Free Chapatti Flour
- 200ml of cold/lukewarm water to make a dough.
Water too hot will make the dough sticky.
- 1 tablespoon milk (optional).
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional).
Method:
1. Put the chapatti flour into a large bowl.
2. Gradually add water (milk/salt) to the flour in small amounts to bind it together.
3. Knead the dough for approximately 5 minutes.
4. Rest dough for 15 - 30 mins.
5. Form the dough into small balls, then flatten them down, roll them into round chapattis.
6. Cook in a tawa or flat pan until golden brown.
