This fresh fruity Spanish wine will bring back memories of long, languid nights on the Costa. It's soft and rounded on the palate and bursting with sweet grapey flavour. A lovely pick-me-up straight from the fridge, it also happens to be a great match for seafood and fish dishes. Try it with dessert, too, as it works wonderfully well with fresh fruit salad and even with ice-cream.

Sol de Espana takes its name of the place where it is made: the sunny plains of central Spain, in the valley of the river Jabalon. We combine traditional methods of vine cultivation with modern winemaking via our experienced winemakers. The Solis family owns (400 hectares) and works in partnership with 5.000 family-owned vine growers.

The area of Castilla - La Mancha, located in the central plateau of the Iberian Peninsula, is the world's largest vineyard. Varietal wines are made with one type of grape. Airén and tempranillo are the most characteristic grapes of this area.

Grapes undergo strict controls in the vineyards to decide the correct moment to be harvested and transformed into a wine with the right amount of sugar and acidity. Fermentation is done at 14-16º C and the result is a fruity and elegant wine.
