This kit enables you to make spooky but delicious pumpkin or skull biscuits, perfect for any Halloween party or Halloween activity.

This pack includes:
- 250g biscuit mix
- 2x 100g white fondant icing
- Orange gel food colour
- Black decorating icing
- 1 pumpkin-shaped biscuit cutter
For the biscuit dough, you'll need:
- 60g soft butter or margarine
- 1 medium egg
- 50g icing sugar (optional for dusting)

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/ Gas mark 4 approximately 10 minutes before your bake is ready to go in the oven.
Line the baking tray with baking paper.
To make the biscuit dough:
- Put the biscuit mix, soft butter or margarine, and egg in a mixing bowl.
- Mix the ingredients with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth dough.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and put in the fridge. Let it chill for 10 minutes. Chilling the dough makes it easier to handle.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it's about 1/2 cm thick.
- Use the cookie cutter to cut out pumpkin shapes or simply turn upside down to create skull shapes, and place on the (lined) baking tray.
- Re-roll the dough until you have used it up.
You should have around 20 pumpkin or skull biscuits.
- Bake the biscuits in the middle of the oven for 10-12 minutes or until they're golden.
- Leave the biscuits to cool completely on a cooling rack.

To Decorate:
- Colour 100g of white fondant icing with the orange gel food colour and use icing sugar to prevent sticking.
- Roll out the white and orange fondant thinly on a surface sprinkled with powdered icing sugar.
- Use the cutter to cut out shapes from the fondant.
- To stick the fondant onto the biscuits, lightly brush the biscuits with water and smooth the fondant with your hands.
- Finally, use the decorating icing to draw scary faces on the Halloween biscuits, and get creative.
