Domaine Seguin Pouilly Fume

We have been winegrowers for six generations, and our property is located on the best 'terroirs' of Pouilly sur Loire. This Pouilly Fumé, made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, is the perfect accompaniment to seafood, fish and poultry.

Domaine Seguin is a small family winery located in the hamlet of Le Bouchot near to the Loire river. Philippe Seguin is the 6th generation now looking after the family vineyards which comprise of around 20ha of vines situated on the three main terroirs of Pouilly Fumé - limestone, clay and flint.

This Pouilly Fumé, made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, is the perfect accompaniement to seafood, fish and poultry.

Following the pressing of the grapes the juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation takes place at 17 degrees over 3 to 5 weeks. the wine then stays on fine lees for a further 3 to 6 months to develop texture and body before bottling following a light filtration.
