Cornish Cheese Co Cornish Blue Wedge

Designed to be eaten as a young cheese, Cornish Blue is a very different product from traditional English blue cheeses. Its flavour is mild and creamy, with a dense texture and buttery richness, instead of the ‘salty tang’ common of other traditional blue cheeses it has a gentle sweetness.

We are very proud to have won the World's Supreme Champion Cheese from over 2600 cheeses at the World Cheese Awards in November 2010!

The Cornish Cheese Company is based on the Stansfield’s farm on the edge of Bodmin Moor which is ideally placed for cheesemaking as the very moist climate makes for good pasture which is important for the local milk that goes into the cheese. We produce a range of award-winning cheeses that include Cornish Blue, Cornish Brie, Cornish Nanny and Cornish Camembert and all the cheese is still hand made, turned and packed on the family farm. Taking the purest of natural ingredients and use our traditional farmhouse methods with a unique recipe of cultures to create sweet-tasting, full-flavoured cheeses that are so richly creamy and unmistakably Cornish.
