This Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, then matured for its entire life by the shores of Loch Indaal in premium American oak casks, it is a testament to the quality of Bruichladdich's ingredients.

Unlike Bruichladdich’s neighbouring distilleries on the island of Islay, the Bruichladdich range is made without peat. Without the influence of smoke, the brilliance of the primary raw ingredient, barley, is exposed. Stepping further outside of whisky tradition, ingredients are traced from origin to bottling – embracing every growing season, the subtlety of changing barley varietals and the methods applied in growing them. With the same vigour, the distilling process is patient and purposeful; with a slow fermentation in wooden washbacks and trickle distillation through tall, narrow necked stills, this 100% Scottish barley distilled spirit is filled into an ever-evolving suite of top-quality casks. In a final commitment to quality and community, this whisky is bottled unchill-filtered and colouring free, inside the distillery gates, using Islay spring water. Over two decades now, high provenance single malts have been stowed in lochside warehouses and have been nestled safely alongside ageing Bruichladdich stocks distilled by a previous generation.
