Benefits of Glycerine
Glycerine or glycerol is a well-known humectant that suppresses trans-epidermal water loss to lock in precious skin hydration and attract water to the skin. Pastry cooks use it in Royal icing to bind the water to the sugar and stop it from hardening. Unlike oils, glycerine is not occlusive or oily and so is attractive to all skin types. It is a soothing way to prevent dry skin and leave it hydrated and smooth. One of the oldest and most respected toners was made by blending rose water with glycerine. It can be blended with fresh pulped fruits and vegetables to make face masks that nourish and plump the skin with maximum hydration and zesty freshness.

Instructions for use:
Use in pure form, or mix with Rosewater for extra nourishment and to add a floral scent.
For face: combine 1tsp Glycerine with 2tsps water/Rosewater and massage gently into skin.
For body: use neat, or combine 5tsps Glycerine with 4 cups water and massage all over.
For bath: add a few drops to the bath to help skin absorb and retains moisture.
