Breastfeeding is best for babies. Infant milk is suitable from birth when babies are not being breast-fed. It is recommended that HiPP Organic first infant milk is only used on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian or pharmacist. When bottle feeding, avoid prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with teeth, when they appear, as this increases the risk of tooth decay.

Preparing the feed
Please follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill.
1. Wash hands, sterilise all equipment following manufacturers' instructions.
2. Check best before date, and that cap and seal is intact, then shake bottle well.
3. Pour required amount of milk into a sterilised feeding bottle and use within 2 hours.
4. Milk can be given at room temperature or warmed if desired. If warmed check temperature before feeding.
Note: It is normal for some sediment to be found at the bottom of the bottle before shaking.

Feeding information
Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding.
Never leave your baby alone during feeding.
