For an easy-to-make healthy snack, look no further than these almond butter energy balls, packed full of flavour, carbs and fibre.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 1 cup of dates, pitted (if dry, soak in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain well)
- 0.25 cup of dairy-free dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds, or sub flax or hemp seeds
- 3 tbsp of almond butter, or peanut butter
- 225 g of gluten-free rolled oats
Method
Step 1
Blend dates in a food processor or blender until they are in small pieces.Step 2
Add the oats, chocolate, chia seeds and peanut butter and blend or mix until the ingredients are combined. There should be consistently small pieces but not overly processed and blended.Step 3
Roll the mix into 1-inch balls.Step 4
Pop into the fridge to set.Step 5
Eat and enjoy. Keep in an airlock container to store.
