Beet the Blues Smoothie

Ingredients
- 3 carrots
- 1 beetroot
- 5 cm fresh ginger
- 1 apple
- ½ cup apple juice

Prepare Ahead
Prepare a clean and clear working space.
Instructions
- Wash and peel the carrots, beetroot and apple then chop into similar size pieces. Remove the skin from the ginger.
- Put all ingredients in a blender or mixer and blend until smooth, add ½ a cup of apple juice if needed to get a smooth blend.
- Get a large bowl and use a fine mesh strainer to pour out the juice though the strainer. Use a spatula to press the pulp down and squeeze the juice out.
- As an option, save and add the pulp for a thicker mix. Pour your juice into a glass.
- Drink and enjoy.
