Jus-Rol Gluten Free Puff Pastry Ready Rolled Sheet 280g
First pasty in 5 years
While I don't think it's possible to fully recreate puff pastry in gluten free format, this comes pretty close. It works better when it has room to 'puff up', I used half for a tart which stayed quite flat under the topping, and then for pasties and it puffed up a lot more. It was the first pasty I've had in years and was excellent. It's a bit buttery so probably not the healthiest option, but still lovely.

Morrisons The Best Vintage Still Cider 2.25L
Lovely traditional cider
As a big fan of traditional cider and scrumpy this is a great value cider to have in the house. While my favourites are more expensive and hard to get varieties, it’s really great that Morrisons keeps this cider on sale as a backup, especially when you live far from cider country in the South West and it’s hard to get hold of a good cider!

Whitworths Figs 175g
Great emergency snack
I always try to have a couple of packets of these in the cupboard, they make a lovely snack especially for travelling, and you can have them with cheese or a persian salad. So nice to be able to have figs out of season. They can be a bit mis-shapen or ugly in their dried state, but thats dried figs for you, they still taste great!

Nash's Red Lemonade 1.5L
Ruined by sweeteners
I was really looking forward to the nostalgic taste of my childhood but it’s got sweeteners in it, doesn’t taste anything like it used to. I’d rather pay the sugar tax and be responsible for my own sugar intake than have all soft drinks ruled out because of vile tasting sweeteners.
