Cooking Guidelines
Microwave - From Ambient. Pierce film several times. Heat on full (800-W) for 1 min a pot or 2 mins for 2 pots. Microwave ovens vary, adjust cooking time accordingly. Peel back film, fluff in the tray & check the product is hot before serving.; Stir Fry - From Ambient. Alternatively stir-fry each portion for 1 minute in a little vegetable oil. Do not reheat.

What have they done??

I used to love Veetee long grain rice - always came out fluffy and soft. Now these new pots I thought was a great idea but the rice is horrible. Hard and unpleasant - I tried adding a little water to see if that helped but no! Do not buy!

Weird Taste

This rice seemed to have a weird smell & taste. Ive enjoyed all the other Veetee rice pots, but this long grain rice is the exception.

oily

I liked the two little portion pots but the rice seemed really oily and didnt have a nice taste. Ill stick to another leading brand next time
