Penne with Pesto

- 300g of Napolina Penne
- 1 large clove of garlic, chopped roughly
- 50g pine nuts, toasted
- 150ml Napolina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 50g fresh Parmesan, grated
- Large bunch fresh basil
- Ground black pepper
How to Make
#1 Cook the pasta in slightly salted boiling water for 12 minutes until al dente.
#2 Place the garlic, pine nuts, olive oil and parmesan in a food processor and blitz for a few seconds.
#3 Remove the basil leaves from the stems. Add the leaves to the food processor and blitz for a second. Season with the black pepper.
#4 Serve the pesto mixed into the drained penne. The pesto can be made in a large pestle and mortar instead of a food processor for a more chunky pesto.
