Victorious Victorias

Such heavenly slices of cake. The sponge is soft, the jam is sweet, A perfect little bite to eat. The best Mr Kipling product out there for me, 5 stars.

Ok but small

These cakes taste ok and are probably handy for a lunchbox treat. However, if I’m wanting some cake with a cup of tea these are tiny. I could eat 3 to make a still smallish slice of Victoria Spinge.

Simple in appearance, but tasty.

Lovely light slices of soft, moist sponge cake dusted with sugar crystals and with a sweet (Maybe a little more sweet than really necessary.) and somewhat tangy raspberry filling. Though they are admittedly very nice, they're quite simple-looking things - seem a bit expensive. Mr Kipling seems to be in the process of changing the packaging of many if not most or even all of for their products, such as the design of their boxes as well as how the cakes themselves are sold off within them - particularly by wrapping them in 2s versus wrapping them all together, which can often create issues, like leading any left over after having been opened to deteriorate in quality or, definitely more problematic for some more than for others, for them. to be eaten in a bid to prevent this, whether likely or not. I unfortunately got the original somehow. Just something to look out for (on top of how unhealthy they are, LOL)!
