I refused to pay for my usual top brand salad cream as I just cudnt justify the price hike again so thought I wud give this a try and Im so glad I did it tastes way better than the top brand it has a lovely tangy taste and a nice thick consistency A great taste will be buying this from now on
Up to now I have always stuck to the market leader, but it's so hugely expensive now that I decided to give this a go. Very pleasantly surprised, it's a very nice salad cream at a very good price. It's now on my shopping list for good.
At first taste this is perfectly acceptable as a Heinz alternative and then you notice that it just hides in the background. No zing.
Yuck yuck yuck, tastes sour, looks nasty and basically like no food humans should eat - only bought as was doing egg and Cress sandwiches for a party and morrisons had put branded product up to exorbitant price so thought surely salad cream is salad cream, turns out I was wrong!!!!
This salad cream leaves an unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth. Not good even when compared to other budget brands.
Im a snob when it comes to salad creams and dressings, but this is lovely, especially in the potato salad recipe by Lisa Faulkner & John Torode. -Just putting a second bottle in my basket now!
