Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.; Hob - From Chilled. Remove all packaging, except the netting. Place the joint in a large pan of cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 31 minutes per 500g. Ensure pan doest not boil dry. Remove joint from pan and allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Alternatively for best results after boiling, transfer immediately to a roasting tray and place in the centre of a pre-heated oven 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6 for 20 minutes. Remove joint from tray and allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Remove netting before serving. Serve and enjoy.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Pre-heat your oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6. Remove all packaging, except the netting. Wrap the joint foil and place on a baking tray. Roast for 35 minutes per 500g. At the end of the cooking time, remove the foil and cook for a further 20 minutes. Remove joint from tray and allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Remove netting before serving. Serve and enjoy.
