mouldy
Ive always bought the fresh pasta but this has put me off. Unopened in fridge two weeks left on date and put in the pan and loads of it is covered in green fluffy mould
Very nice
Lovely pasta, best fresh penne I've had
Turned moldy quickly
The texture of the pasta is good and it's quick to cook but you have to consume them fast enough or they can go to the bin. These were stored in a dry food cupboard (away from heat or humidity) but the whole bag turned moldy within a month of purchase while still had a whole month before expired!
This is soft pasta and has to be mentioned
This is soft pasta you have to keep in the fridge, even closed bag goes off after 1 week. Can't be stored in the cupboard. If pack is open - you have to cook the whole thing -otherwise it goes off in 1 day.
Does not contain beef
I was a little confused by the previous review, who i think must have confused the product with another, this pasta is definitely suitable for vegetarians, being meat-free / animal product-free. I also agree that it is best served al dente, it will then keep its shape, texture and subtle flavour, and will certainly cook a lot quicker than dried pasta. Compared to other fresh pastas that are available here, this is probably as good as they come.
you need to mention in the title it's not veggie
We almost bought these assuming they are like every other fresh pasta, made from egg and flour. Thankfully we checked the nutrition and noticed they are 55% beef due to the casing. A product like fresh pasta is commonly known to be vegetarian so putting in the title "traditional Italian" is not enough, it needs to say "contains beef". I'm just glad we checked the nutrition before eating them
