Some tins are half peas in water, some are ok so you have to shake tins before you buy
Lovely mushy peas. Perfect size for 2 persons.
Cant understand what the other reviewers are reviewing but these are great! Not minty as others have said. Plain good old fashioned mushy peas. Love the small cans as my partner doesnt like them in general (more for me) so this can size is perfect.
Love proper mushy peas i.e. dried peas steeped overnight and then simmered for about 30 mins 'til they're softened and all excess water is absorbed/steam away, to get the mushy consistency. These aren't that bad - I've had worse m.p's from a tin (which were like boiled down processed peas), and will do at a pinch, but give me mushy peas that you got in the chippies of old!
Revolting - only bought because Bachelors was out of stock. Nasty taste with "minty" flavor like some cheap toothpaste.
Can't understand all the bad reviews, they are a dull green but better that than the bright green ones by Batchelors, taste is reasonable, and as for being watery they are mushy peas and that's what real mushy peas are meant to be like, don't know what other customers are used to, all in all a decent accompaniment to my home made fish and chips.
