Delisous
Made a lamb hotpot, slow cooked in slow cooker was excellent, not fatty, well pleased will make a curry next. Well done to the British farmer.
OK for lamb saag
Would usually cook mutton in a curry but I tried this and it was OK. Meat was fresh.
hardly any meat
Only 1 larger piece I jest, doest look diced, more like scrapings. Stick to butchers next time
Fantastic
Seeing as the cheap Morrisons Slow Cooker Lamb has been discontinued, I thought Id give this a go for making a tagine. As its lean, its not got as much flavour as a fattier cut, but was still lovely. Fell apart beautifully after cooking for a few hours. Also I only cooked this 2 days after the date on the pack, as there was no funky smell, and it was lovely even then (and I didnt get ill).
Lovely
I read the other reviews and wondered whether to risk buying this or not. I ordered some and took the risk. It was so nice, lean and tender I have just ordered some more. AND they havnt imported it so thats a plus from me.
why did my review disappear?
Not sure why my review isnt here any more but this lamb is mostly lumps of fat. I definitely wouldnt recommend it unless you like a fatty stew or casserole. I made a stew after throwing away most of the fat and it did taste good but not much meat was left.
