Ginsters
What has happened to Ginsters pies & pasties. Used to be the best. Now they are mostly onion and potato with a bit too much spices something. Had one the other day, even the dog turned his nose up.
Ginsters slices
Use to buy them regularly until they started to put potato’s in them 😖
Never again a total rip off
The pastry was strange, Tuff, chewy, shiny and bland. The filling was awful, pieces of potato and just peppery anemic gravy that looked like something a dog fetched up on a kitchen floor after eating cat shit
Delicious
Nice and peppery. Not a huge amount of meat but they are cheap and meat is expensive. I love them, especially when on offer
Nice.
Only worth it when on offer, tastes nice and a nice pastry. I could be wrong but i don't remember there being potato in them years ago but there is now. Good for a quick lunch.
Unfortunate
These pies tend to contain about 90% grisle, 10% meat. A shame really, since the pastry and sauce is decent.
