so handy to keep in the fridge and great for making your own garlic bread
I was forced to use this garlic puree when I couldn't find decent fresh bulbs of garlic in my local supermarkets and shops. I was hoping it would be a good product to use and it was. I use it more now than I do fresh garlic. It does contain oil but you still get the garlic flavour coming through. It keeps for ages if you put it in the fridge. It's a great product.
I always keep one of these open in the fridge, and an unopened one in the cupboard. I can't be without! It is so handy to use in most savoury cooking, and as it's blended with olive oil, it's great to put in when frying food, or blend into a sauce, and the o doesn't affect the flavour. Between this and dried garlic granules I haven't peeled or crushed a garlic clove in years!!
Seemed handy to keep in the fridge but it has way too much salt. I thought it was just me but I made my wife some garlic bread this evening and she asked why I had covered it in salt.
Whats not to love it has a great garlic taste. I use it in cooking to add flavour but also to create my own garlic bread. Its delicious spread on chicken breast with a bit of salt and black pepper baked in the oven
ive been using this for a year now and i love it. so much easier and tastes better. not sure of some of the reviews it does not taste salty. some oil does come out but that's because I put it in the fridge for a week or so. would defo recommend and will be buying again
