History
Pedro Ferrer Bosch and his wife Dolores Sala Vivé established Freixenet as a quality sparkling wine company back in 1861. Their tenancy and innovation all these years ago placed Freixenet family along the route to global success. Subsequent generations have continued to lead the company and today members of the Ferrer family remain at the heart of the Freixenet Group

Vinification Details
Cordon Rosado is the vibrant pink partner of Freixenet's famous Cordon Negro. Made using the same traditional techniques as Champagne, two charming Spanish red grape varieties, Trepat and Garnacha, give Cordon Rosado its subtle hue.

Not dry, beware

Seco here means something like off-dry. A little too sweet if your prefer dry ie brut, but otherwise drinkable. Probably suits the occasional cava drinker more than the connoisseur. Perfectly pleasant on a hot summer's day, though.

'Seco' means DRY in Spanish

I've not tried this but if you want a sweet wine please be aware that 'Seco' means DRY in Spanish so unless the wine is not labelled correctly this is likely to be dry.
