History
Don Maximiano Errázuriz founded Viña Errázuriz in 1870 when he planted the first French grape varieties in Chile's Aconcagua Valley. His initiative, creativity and belief that the best wines come from the best land has been passed down through subsequent generations and today Viña Errázuriz remains family owned by the Chadwick family. Working hand in hand with nature, the family and winemaking teams are constantly striving to produce great Chilean wines, produced in a sustainable, responsible way.

Regional Information
This Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon was made with grapes from vineyards in the Maipo and Aconcagua Valleys. The Maipo is known for its cool morning breezes that blow down from the Andes Mountains and the moderate daytime temperatures that allow the grapes to reach the perfect level of ripeness while preserving their acidity and freshness. The Aconcagua Valley, close to Chile's Pacific Ocean, has warm summer days and fresh evening breezes which encourage intense colours and ripe flavours in this red wine.

Vinification Details
Grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon were hand-harvested and taken to the winery where they were pressed and went through fermentation. Around ¾ of the final blend was aged for six months in French oak barrels in order to obtain gentle, rounded tannins and a good texture on the palate for this lovely red wine.
