Vinification Details
Made with Syrah & Malbec grapes from the Maule valley in central Chile. The grapes were mechanically harvested and then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 days. The wine was then aged in different barrels of several uses, with different intensities of toast including American oak and French Oak.

Not my favourite

I struggled with this one, I love the black label it’s my all time favourite but this one has such a different taste to any other of the Casillerobrand it’s just not for me .

Favourite wine!

Even when not on offer I purchase this. One of the best brands by far and this is fabulous.

I am not a wine expert or a regular drinker, was recommended this wine from my friend. It was amazing, the smell, the taste. Very smooth, light and sweet. would recommend this wine to anyone, can not wait to have it with lamb chops

This is a beautiful, smooth wine... excellent value. Fruity and full bodied, I don’t like oaky wine and this is perfect!

There was nothing wrong with this wine, but it was pretty generic. I am a fan of some of their standard range (cab Sauvignon is v.good) and these are also far better value for money.
